1. Could you introduce yourself and tell us about you? Your current / recent jobs and employers? Previous companies and jobs?
He has been working in the IT industry since he started his career for about 25+ years now. He started off as a Service Engineer and as time went by, he moved into Saudi and became an area manager where they delivered different kinds of services, and he was later on assigned as the Country Head for that company. He did all the service-related function there, sold services, made huge profits and margins, and all. After his time there, he worked with XXXX as a Service Delivery Director where he managed multi-site IT service operations across KSA; worked with enterprise hardware support for government entities especially brands such as HP and Dell. Then he moved to Dubai and joined XXXX as the Head of Support Services where he did lots of restructuring, worked with different distributors such as BlackBerry, Apple, and others, and managed all IT service delivery operations both in the UAE and KSA. He is currently working and managing his startup called XXXX where they lead strategic operations for a facility management company, mostly delivering IT support and civil infrastructure services. He is now back to Dubai and is actively looking for opportunities.
2. What skill(s) / experience would you self-describe as strongest or specialist in?
Strongest skill would be delivering services and business at any circumstance. He is good with planning and setting up a business whether in Saudi Arabia or Dubai since he has lots of connections, knows lot or retails, and is a team-oriented person. In terms of the domain, he’s good with service delivery area as he believes it is tougher to do than a box-selling business.
3. Do you have the lists of key criteria’s according to the clients’ requirements?
He has experience setting up business and operations in KSA and can also do it in Dubai if given the chance; has more than 7 years of experience being involved in sales and business development with mobile phones, IT hardware, and electronics including HP, Acer, Fujitsu, BlackBerry, Apple, and others. Apart from that, he has been into leadership roles for more than 15 years now so he’s well-versed with managing and leading people. Knowledgeable with refurbished electronics lifecycle, creating new verticals depending on the business and requirements, and has existing network already in the UAE and KSA market that he can leverage for his next jobs.
