Job Description
- After a very successful 2024, looking for a new Software Delivery Senior Manager to join their team in Tokyo.
- Lead and manage a team of 30+ software engineers delivering embedded audio solutions to Japanese automotive OEMs
- Align regional software delivery with OEM roadmaps, ensuring seamless integration into vehicle programs
- Drive technical excellence across acrhitecture, requirements, integration, and ASPICE-compliant processes
- Oversee project planning, risk management, and customer-facing deliverables using Agile methodology
- Represent the voice of the customer internally, fostering collaboration, and accountability across global teams
Key Candidate Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required; Master’s preferred
- 12+ years of experience in automotive software engineering, with strong track in embedded systems
- At least 5+ years in senior management or leading of large technical teams
- Mastery of C/C++ and active coding skills in embedded development
- Experience with ASPICE assessments and structured development processes
- Strong grasp of RTOS environments (QNX, Linux, Android)
- Proficient in RFI/RFQ phases, customer engagement, and business development
- Fluent in English and Japanese
