Job Description
- After a very successful 2024, looking for a new Mid or Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join their team in China.
- Report directly to the CTO in the US and Hardware Lead in Shenzhen
- Develop and optimize embedded software for the flagship product’s multi-screen, motion-sensitive gaming device
- Contribute to firmware architecture and system-level debuggine
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate sensors, displays, and communication protocols
- Hybrid setup with 3 days onsite in Shenzhen office
Key Candidate Criteria
- At least 5+ years of experience in embedded systems from any industry
- Strong understanding of embedded system diagnostics and hardware-software interfacing
- Hands-on skills in C and Python; good to have Assembly, C++, and Rust
- Experience with JTAG adapters, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and multimeters
- Proficient with different communication protocols (BLE, Bluetooth, UART, I2C, I2S, SPI, SD (NAND))
- Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus but not required
