Job Description
- After very successful 2025, our client is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Developer to join their pioneering local team in Metro Manila.
- Reporting to the Engineering Lead with mentoring responsibilities over junior developers
- Design, develop and deploy powerful and scalable full-stack applications using modern frameworks and participate in code reviews, mentoring, and Agile development cycles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, system architecture, and technical specifications.
- Integrate APIs, manage cloud deployments, and ensure high-performance, low-latency systems
Key Candidate Criteria
- 3-7 years hands-on experience in software development with strong command of Java for backend and React.js (or similar JS frameworks) for frontend.
- Deep understanding of RESTful API development, microservices, and object-oriented design principles
- Strong grasp of software architecture patterns, TDD, and Agile methodologies
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoBD, Casandra)
- Skilled in containerization and DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins, with exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficient in cloud technologies—ideally GCP—and comfortable using tools like BigQuery, DataProc, DataFlow, or equivalent in AWS/Azure
- Can speak fluent English
Office
- Work from home but will transition to onsite once the office is established
